The Rev. Jamie Samilio
she/her/hers
The Reverend Jamie Samilio is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary and she holds an undergraduate degree in Art from Mercyhurst University. Jamie has a strong desire to walk with others as they discover their spiritual gifts and journey toward a deeper understanding of their own call to ministry. She also has a passion for Christian Formation and Outreach, but her first love is engaging in the creative process, through art, worship design, or almost any task or program where there is space for imagination. Jamie believes that God wants us to experience joy in life, and little brings her more joy than helping someone unlock their inner creativity. Since her ordination, Rev. Jamie has served several parishes in Virginia, and she and her spouse Sylvia lived and worked in the DC metro area for many years. During her time in Virginia, Jamie joined the Interim Ministry Network (IMN) and used her educational allowance to earn an IMN certificate. She was called as a Priest-in-Charge to Good Samaritan, Clearwater, FL in 2020. In 2023, Jamie began taking Interim and supply assignments serving churches in Florida, Delaware, Virginia, and now she has joined us at Christ Church, Indiana, PA. Jamie enjoys painting, playing the piano, and being in or on the water!
