Join us for this special prayer service to pray for our community, first responders and nation on this day of remembrance. Music provided by area church musicians; light refreshments after. Hosted by the Indiana Chapter of the American Guild of Organists
Saturday, September 19 – Pedals, Pipes & Pizza
Join us at Calvary Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. for Pedals, Pipes & Pizza, a fun and interactive event designed to introduce young people and piano students to the pipe organ. Guest presenter Dr. Anne Laver will lead the program, and participants will have the opportunity to play the organ, learn about this unique instrument, and enjoy a pizza lunch. All interested children and piano students are welcome!
Marissa Bruno is an alumna of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Music Education. With a concentration in Organ, she studied under Dr. Christine Clewell. Marissa returned to IUP in 2021 and graduated in December 2023 with her Master's in Organ Performance. She is currently the Music Director at Christ Episcopal Church in Indiana, PA, Organist at Graystone Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Indiana, PA, and owner of Marissa's Music Studio in Indiana, PA.
