The Diocese of Pittsburgh needs the prayerful wisdom and service of a great variety of people, both lay and ordained, to further the mission of the Episcopal Church here in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Would you please consider serving on a Diocesan Board, Committee, or Commission to make a positive impact on the work God has given us to do together?

• What qualifications do I need to serve? A passion to work with others for the mission of the Church spreading the Gospel throughout our corner of God’s Kingdom.
• What are the time requirements? Time to read, reflect and prepare for the meetings varies. Remote participation is possible for most of the meetings. Most meetings average less than 90 minutes per month. Terms range from 1 to 4 years depending on the position.
• Do I need to be nominated by my clergy or warden? No. However some lay positions do require the signature of your clergy or senior warden.
